culturekitchen: My participation in CNN's "Latino In America"

Interesting the differences between the blogging diva and the Blacktina TV commentator -- the former is irreverent, snarky and youthful, while the latter is understated, mature and cerebral. Love both sides but I'm really impressed by TV Liza -- you were educating viewers w/insights, perspectives never seen before in MSM. Loved your point about our being better off if we understood the profound levels of diversity w/in Latin America. CNN could do the nation a huge service by having you on regularly.

Q: Why not do a video series as TV Liza for Latinos and nonLatinos alike on the critical questions the media won't/can't cover re: Latinos in America?

Finally, this session was so much better than that jumbled mess Campbell Brown did w/Sheila E, Gloria Estefan, Daisy Fuentes, et al.

i'd love to do something like that but that would take raising serious money. so it's one of my to-dos but not in the immediate future :D

that said, i've been toying since last year with videocasting. i now have a pretty good idea of what i want to do. just have to finish some project before going to the next thing :P

am anyhow all ears if you have any suggestions and/or ideas :)
